Abstract/Description
Holocaust survivor Rena Finder discusses her experiences during the Holocaust as part of the Philip N. Backstrom Survivor Lecture Series held during Northeastern University's annual Holocaust Awareness Week. Finder, originally from Krakow, Poland, speaks about her experience as a young girl on Schindler's List. She survived the Krakow ghetto and labor in the Plaszow camp before working in Oskar Schindler's factory. She later spent three weeks in Auschwitz before being rescued by Schinder along with other "Schindler women", including her mother. Note: This video is missing a section. For full-length talks from Rena Finder, see her videos from 1997, 1999 or 2010.
